'Let everthing that has breath 'PRAISE THE LORD. PRAISE THE LORD! (Psalm 150:6)
Good Morning!
If you clicked on the 'Soul-Joy' blog page this morning, YAY! 'YOU HAVE BREATH'! 😉🙋🏼♂️
And, that means we are 'alive' and are 'able' to 'PRAISE THE LORD'.
To the Christian, 'praise' should be as automatic as 'breathing'. In my early Christian experience, the lady who led me to the LORD, said 'praise the LORD' quite often, not in a trite way, but in sincere praise.
I wondered 'why' . . . a short time later, I found out the reason. The 'reason is' there is so much 'spiritual power' when we learn to sing and use our daily 'praises' unto the LORD.
The enemy knows of this power. That is why he tries to get our attention on our problems, instead of the LORD's ways and tries to STOP US in our effort of 'praising the LORD'!
I heard it said by a former pastor / friend of mine say, "'Praise' is like 'oil' for our spirit and lives. If we fail to 'praise', it is like a machine trying to operate or run without its oil."
Maybe you have never developed a 'spirit of praise' before, or haven't been taught to 'praise the LORD' in your Christian walk.
Learning to 'PRAISE' the LORD is a lot like learning anything in life. You have to start somewhere. Start 'thanking the LORD' and 'praising the LORD' for this very moment and lesson. And then, think of all His Blessings towards you. And remember, anything doing well, takes practice. It takes sincere effort from the heart ❤️.
We can 'praise the LORD' by singing, shouting out and stating reasons why 'God is GOOD'. If you need help in finding out reasons to 'praise the LORD', click on the link below. You will be glad you did!
